VLIV / HAMBURG
VLIV is an independent design studio in Hamburg, exploring light, texture and the objects we share our spaces with.
We develop forms digitally and bring them into the physical world through modern manufacturing, including 3D printing. Curves and visible layers are part of the design.
FORM
Soft curves, ribs and silhouettes are developed as digital forms rather than decoration added afterwards.
LAYER
The layer lines stay visible. They catch the light, create texture and become part of the object itself.
GLOW
Warm light turns a printed shell into something softer — an object that changes from day to night.
